Vanguard's Low-Cost S&P 500 Index Fund

The S&P 500 Vanguard Fund (VOO ETF) is an exchange-traded fund (ETF) managed by the Vanguard Group. This fund was created to give investors a low-cost way to access large and mid-cap U.S. stocks in the S&P 500 Index.
This fund comprises companies that are leaders in their respective industries, representing approximately 75% of the U.S. stock market capitalization.
Founded in 1975, Vanguard has become one of the world’s largest investment management companies. It is closely associated with its founder, Jack Bogle, who popularized passive investing models instead of actively managed mutual funds.
Vanguard is widely respected for its low-cost approach to index investing, which helps investors save on commission fees and other expenses associated with portfolio management.
